Deirdre Walsh, MD, FACC Deirdre Walsh, MD, FACC graduated from Swarthmore College in 1983 and earned her medical degree from Hahnemann University in 1987. She continued to train in Philadelphia with her residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital. Hahnemann University was the site of her fellowship in cardiology, where in 1992-1993 she served as chief cardiology fellow.
Dr. Walsh is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and holds certificates in the non-invasive subspecialties of Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. For 15 years , Dr. Walsh has been in the private practice of cardiology where she concentrates on preventative strategies for her patients. Her practice is centered at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA where she also volunteers her time on numerous hospital committees. She is active in the community, often speaking to groups with a focus on women’s cardiac health. Dr. Walsh’s philosophy is to encourage her patients to become accountable for their health and wellness. She strives to become their partner in helping them to achieve both a healthier lifestyle and to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease. |
