Brenda Saget-Darling

Brenda Saget Darling was named publisher of More magazine in August 2005. In June of 2006 she was promoted to the role of Vice President. She had previously served as Publisher of Traditional Home magazine since August 2003.

Under her leadership, More was named 2006 Magazine of the Year by Advertising Age. More also received numerous other awards during this time including placement on Advertising Age’s “A List” of top 10 magazines for 2005 and 2007, Adweek’s “Hot List” of top 10 magazines in 2008 and “Best Women’s Lifestyle” title of the year by Media magazine.

Brenda came to Meredith Corporation from Condé Nast Publications, where she held the position of Vice President/Publisher of House & Garden. In her four-year tenure, she was responsible for sales and marketing of the magazine. During that time, the magazine saw significant growth in non-endemic categories such as fashion, beauty, retail and financial services.

Her broad publishing experience includes positions at several Condé Nast, Fairchild and Hachette Filipacchi titles. She served as Associate Publisher at The New Yorker and Elle Décor magazines, as well as at House & Garden prior to her promotion to VP/Publisher.

A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Brenda currently resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
